About the Role What you'll do: Develop, test, and deploy Node.js-based edge functions across major CDN and edge compute platforms. Integrate APIs, data sources, and backend services into edge logic for routing, personalization, caching, and request/response transformation. Build automation and deployment workflows using CLI tools and platform SDKs. Collaborate with DevOps/Platform teams to design CI/CD pipelines optimized for edge environments. Contribute to performance improvements, monitoring, and reliability of globally distributed services. What we're looking for: Hands‑on experience deploying serverless or edge functions using Cloudflare Workers, Fastly Compute, or Akamai EdgeWorkers. Strong understanding of HTTP, caching, CDN routing, and request/response lifecycle handling. Familiarity with WebAssembly and modern edge runtime environments. Experience using CI/CD tools to manage releases for distributed applications. Nice-to-Have: Experience with Cloudflare KV, Durable Objects, or other edge data stores. Experience with observability tools for distributed environments. Familiarity with performance tuning for ultra‑low latency systems.
