HR Generalist

The Role We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Generalist who is passionate about tech talent and thrives in dynamic startup environments. Reporting directly to the HR Director, you’ll play a key role in executing HR initiatives, supporting recruitment efforts, and ensuring smooth day-to-day people operations for our Mexico City office. Key Responsibilities Tech Talent Acquisition Support Support end-to-end recruitment processes for technical roles including AI / ML engineers, data scientists, developers, and technical marketing specialists Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, and other channels tailored to the Mexico tech talent market Coordinate interviews, maintain candidate communication, and ensure a positive candidate experience Manage applicant tracking systems and recruitment metrics HR Operations & Administration Execute HR policies and procedures established by the HR Director Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation Support payroll coordination, benefits administration, and time-off tracking Ensure compliance with Mexican labor laws and regulations under HR Director guidance Employee Relations & Engagement Serve as first point of contact for employee questions and concerns Support employee engagement initiatives and company culture activities Assist with conflict resolution and escalate complex issues to HR Director Help coordinate performance review cycles and feedback processes HR Projects & Initiatives Contribute to the development and improvement of HR processes and systems Support training and development program coordination Assist with HR analytics and reporting to support data-driven decision making Participate in special HR projects as assigned by HR Director What We’re Looking For Required Experience & Skills 3-5 years of HR generalist experience, with exposure to tech or startup environments preferred Experience supporting technical recruitment processes (exposure to AI / ML, software engineering, or data science roles is a plus) Solid understanding of Mexican labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices Hands‑on experience with HR operations including onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance Proficiency with HRIS systems and applicant tracking systems Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (written and verbal) Preferred Qualifications Experience in marketing, advertising, or tech agency environments Familiarity with sourcing strategies for technical talent Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field Personal Attributes Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Proactive and resourceful problem‑solver who takes initiative Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment Team player with a collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn Discreet and maintains confidentiality with sensitive information Genuine interest in technology and AI‑driven business environments What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits package for mid-level professionals Hybrid work arrangement with flexibility Direct mentorship and learning opportunities Exposure to cutting‑edge AI technology and innovative marketing solutions Collaborative, fast‑paced startup environment with growth potential Opportunity to develop expertise in tech talent acquisition and startup HR Professional development support and career advancement opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr
