Fabrication Manager

Job Title: Fabrication ManagerFunction: OperationsReports to: Operation Manager Supervises: Planner and Maintenance SupervisorLanguage: Fluent in English (both verbal and written)Location: Jalisco, MexicoTravel: Up to 20%Role descriptionThe mission of the Fabrication Manager is to Ensure, Plan, Direct and Coordinate the necessary resources for daily manufacturing operation to ensure compliance with fabrication plans, meeting quality, safety and cost specifications.Main tasks and responsibilities· Coordinate, through the supervisors, all plant activities related to the fabrication, storage, and distribution of products· Coordinates and maintain all fabrication floor scheduling functions· Responsible for presented the annual manufacturing budgets· Coordinate with the operation manager and human resources on personnel-related matters· Review and maintain product and material levels in all company-related warehouses· Maintain and support all company objectives regarding safety, quality, fabrication and cost· Actively seeks continuous improvement opportunities to increase fabrication, maintain strong customer satisfaction and reduces costs· Supports technical and engineering requests for product development or improvement opportunities· Balances safety, quality, organization and improvements to achieve positive results· Maintain existing or added departmental areas and equipment according to 5S Principles and preventive and operational maintenance schedules.· Maintain the quality system and promotes standard work discipline/rules· Establish and coordinate the training and development of personnel under their supervisionEducation and experience· Industrial Engineer or related field .· Minimum of 10 years experience in similar roleYour personality· Strong link to Habasit Core Values, demonstrated integrity and ethical standards· Problem-solving and analytical ability· Ability to express and communicate clearly and correctly· Customer insights (On-time delivery, proactive communication, technical guidance, ensure transparent pricing, maintain robust process controls)· Service orientation (Customer-focused mindset, detail-oriented, reliable and accountable, flexible and adaptable, problem-solver)· Innovation (continuous improvement mindset, creative thinker, data-driven decision-maker, open to new technologies, adaptable, collaborative innovator)What we offerWe offer an attractive place to work and personal development in an empowered working culture.
