Team Introduction The Billing and Collections team at TikTok LATAM, based in Mexico, is responsible for managing the region’s Billing Operations from end to end, ensuring timely Invoice Creation, Invoice Delivery and Invoice Reconciliation as well as Collections Operations efficiency for our customers across Latin America to maintain a healthy accounts receivable portfolio. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. We work closely with cross‑functional teams to identify and mitigate financial risks, improve cash flow, and strengthen internal controls related to billing, payments, and receivables management. Through proactive analysis and collaboration, we help sustain a strong control environment and ensure operational excellence across the region. Hybrid Work Model We are back to the office with a hybrid work model, with employees working in the office three days per week. Position Summary We are looking for a highly organized and detail‑oriented Billing & Collections Specialist to join our LATAM Finance Operations team. This role is based in Mexico and is responsible for managing end‑to‑end billing and collections activities for clients across Latin America. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment. Please submit resumes in English only. Responsibilities Billing Operations (70%) Prepare, review, and issue accurate and timely invoices for customers across LATAM, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations and internal guidelines. Validate billing data, campaign details, purchase orders, and supporting documentation before invoice generation. Perform periodic reconciliations between system data, client reports, and internal records. Manage credit notes, re‑bills, and invoice adjustments when needed, ensuring proper documentation and approval flow. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Sales, Legal, Tax, Product, ARBP) to resolve billing discrepancies and improve billing accuracy. Maintain updated knowledge of electronic invoicing requirements (e.g., CFDI 4.0 for Mexico, and other country‑specific formats). Support billing automation initiatives and process improvements in LATAM. Collections Management (30%) Proactively manage the collections portfolio for LATAM customers, including outreach via email, phone, and portals. Monitor accounts receivable aging, follow up on overdue balances, and negotiate payment commitments. Resolve payment discrepancies by coordinating with clients, agencies, and internal teams. Prepare weekly collection reports, risk assessments, and escalation summaries. Support cash application team by providing remittance details and helping reconcile unapplied cash. Maintain strong client relationships while ensuring adherence to payment terms and AR policies. Escalate high‑risk accounts and collaborate on credit holds or risk mitigation actions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
