Summary As a Sales Manager, whether it's new business development or account management, you'll be the driving force behind our success. Responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the general manufacturing and machine shops industry across Africa. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs and providing solutions that add value to their operations. Conduct market analysis to identify business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends. Lead and mentor the sales team, setting objectives and tracking performance to ensure targets are met. Collaborate with the technical team to ensure product offerings meet the specific needs of the manufacturing industry. Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals and after-sales support. Prepare and present sales reports, forecasting, and budgeting to senior management. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree is a plus. Background in manufacturing, mechanical engineering, CNC programming and/or CAD/CAM solutions experience is highly valued. Proven sales experience in the manufacturing industry, specifically with machine shops. Strong leadership skills and experience in managing a diverse sales team. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to travel extensively across Africa. Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional African languages is an advantage.
