Responsabilidades Maintains a safe workplace through adherence to MSA's safety program. Manages staff and supervisors/leaders to ensure adherence to the working climate and corporate values. Assures product meets or exceeds design specifications, that processes adhere to the plant’s quality system and that customer issues are resolved in a timely manner. Develops and manages budgets and reports on performance. Establishes standards of performance, verifies progress, coordinates interdepartmental workflow, analyzes work delays, and implements remedial action. Participates in projects that go beyond normal areas of responsibility. Requisitos Required Education and Experience: Bachelors Degree in Engineering. 5 years of production supervision or project management experience. 2 - 3 years of production manager position. Experience in leading Lean, 6-Sigma, Continuous Improvement, EHS initiatives. Experience in managing others in supervisory roles. Multi-department, multi-shift experience. Masters, advanced degree, may be substituted for up to 2 years of supervisory and/or work experience. Preferred Education and Experience Preferred Education and Experience: 6-Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certificate in Lean Manufacturing Certificate in Supply Chain Masters or advanced degree / certification.
