Medical Case Coordinator – MedVirtual Primary liaison between patients, attorneys, and medical providers following auto‑related personal injury accidents. Manages treatment funding requests, coordinates ongoing medical care, and ensures compliance with confidentiality and ethical standards. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for med‑legal cases, including personal injury (PI), workers’ compensation, auto‑accident, and other legal‑related referrals. Communicate regularly with attorneys, law offices, and case managers regarding patient status, medical records, and reports to ensure timely updates. Coordinate scheduling of medical appointments, follow‑ups, and diagnostics as needed for legal cases. Track and manage documentation, including medical reports, billing, liens, and other legal correspondence. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all relevant legal documentation standards. Maintain accurate and updated records in case‑management software or EMR systems. Generate and send narrative reports, deposition summaries, and lien documents promptly. Follow up with physicians to ensure timely completion of med‑legal reports. Work closely with billing and collections teams to ensure lien accuracy and payment follow‑up. Requirements Experience in medical case management, insurance, or legal support. Proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Understanding of HIPAA regulations and the importance of patient data confidentiality. Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Willingness to work in U.S. time zones (PST, EST, CST). High school diploma or equivalent.
