Workday Functional Analyst – Time Tracking / Attendance & AbsenceLocation: Remote – anywhere in LATAMType: Project (9–12 months)Start Date: ASAPRole Overview: Our client is looking for a Workday Functional Analyst – Time Tracking / Attendance & Absence. This professional is responsible for configuring and optimizing Workday’s time entry, scheduling, and absence functionalities. This role ensures compliance with local labor laws, supports seamless payroll integrations, and leads requirement‑gathering workshops. The consultant will also oversee testing activities, guide the supporting Analyst, and guarantee accurate and compliant tracking of employee time and leave across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesLead workshops to gather time tracking, attendance, and absence requirements.Configure time entry templates, work schedules, and approval workflows.Set up accruals, leave plans, time offs, and eligibility rules.Test end‑to‑end scenarios such as overtime calculations, PTO requests, and leaves of absence.Ensure successful integration and alignment with payroll systems.Provide guidance and mentorship to the Analyst supporting this workstream.Required Qualifications & Skills5+ years of experience with workforce management, time tracking, attendance, or absence systems.3+ years of hands‑on experience with Workday Time Tracking / Absence (preferred).Workday certification is highly desirable.Strong understanding of accruals, overtime rules, and leave policies.Experience with payroll integrations and related compliance factors.Seniority level: Mid‑Senior levelEmployment type: ContractJob function: Information TechnologyIndustries: Staffing and Recruiting #J-18808-Ljbffr
