Overview RIC Energy is an energy services company based in Garza García, N.L, specializing in providing competitive energy services through its divisions—Energy Generation, Qualified Supply and Energy Efficiency—resulting in significant cost savings and increased energy efficiency. RIC Energy is accredited as a Qualified Supplier to the CRE and CENACE. Role Description At RIC Energy, we are expanding our Operations Department with the creation of a Legal–Operations Analyst position. This role is key to ensuring the company's operations comply with national and international regulations in the energy sector while supporting the Operations department in document management, procedures before energy sector authorities, drafting of documents, and administrative project support. The location is at our offices in San Pedro Garza García, N.L. Please send an email to ****** regarding legal advice on energy regulations and compliance (local, national, and international). Responsibilities Oversee regulatory compliance and ensure timely filings. Procedures and interactions with authorities such as CFE, CENACE, and other entities in the sector. Review and draft contracts specific to the energy industry. Structure, organize, and safeguard the company's digital and physical legal archives. Stay up to date on environmental laws, energy policies, and regulations affecting the industry. Requirements Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization. Knowledge of energy market laws and regulations (Mexican electricity market). Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team members. Law Degree with professional license (required). 1–2 years of experience in administrative, legal, or operational roles (ideally within the energy sector). High teamwork skills. Advanced English (conversational). Availability to travel twice a month. Strong skills in legal writing, negotiation, interpersonal relations, and attention to detail.
