Summary of This Role Manages various sales teams such as outside sales, inside sales, channel sales or third‑party sales responsible for market penetration through campaigns that deliver incremental revenue from new and/or existing clients. Defines and communicates the sales process and the sales effectiveness drivers. Leads and fosters co‑operation and collaboration with other functions within the business to maximize efficiency and provide an integrated response to clients’ needs. May be responsible for contract renewal activities for existing clients. What Part Will You Play Leads and prioritises the annual sales plan in support of annual net revenue objectives. Provides detailed and accurate sales forecasting through the use of data‑driven insights. Creates strategic engagement opportunities to grow referral partner client portfolios, implements retention and client‑experience plans, and negotiates and facilitates the contract administration process for new referral partners in all referral channels. Conducts frequent and strategic business reviews with customers, partners, managers and merchant advocates to develop a substantial pipeline of new business opportunities and to manage key relationships. Ensures all communications are coordinated and supports sales‑plan objectives to meet organisational requirements, defines and upholds internal and external service‑level expectations, and works closely with all departments to establish successful support and partner programmes. Leverages new products and capabilities to maximise revenue growth. Recommends sales strategies and tactics for improvement based on market research and competitor analysis to improve cross‑department alignment. Creates and upholds a culture of success that builds, develops and manages multiple sales teams capable of carrying out budgeted sales and service initiatives, and builds and grows a high‑performing team of sales leaders and merchant advocates through effective hiring, onboarding, training and acceleration of talent development and retention. What Are We Looking For in This Role Minimum Qualifications Relevant experience or degree in a related field of study from an accredited university is preferred. Relevant experience in lieu of a degree will also be considered. Typically a minimum of 8 years of related professional experience. Minimum of 3–4 years of supervisory experience.
