Participates in user experience (UX) projects at all levels : acts as a UX project lead for medium to large projects (size and complexity). Advocates and represents the customer in product and platform development. Interprets customer and user research findings, and designs and develops effective and elegant user experiences. Provides creative resolution of problems or issues in order to achieve an improved future result. Develops user profiles, with emphasis on human error control, display issues, visual interaction, physical manipulation, and task and objective analyses. Develops and applies software design / usability processes in the investigation of technical problems. Provides UX training and mentoring to other UX staff. Communicates and advocates usability and product standards, practices and theories. Contributes to and refines establishment of department UX standards and practices. Role Summary As a Senior Accessibility Specialist , you will be a trusted, respected, partner that works closely with either UX Professionals, Product Managers, and Engineering supporting our products, or in collaboration with internal teams including but not limited to Marketing, HR, Diversity & Inclusion and General Counsel supporting business readiness and employee experience initiatives. You will provide accessibility‑related consulting and guidance to ensure all customers or employees can access and use our products and assets. You will also be a mentor to other Accessibility Specialists and assist in educating and promoting accessibility in culture and practice within the organization. To be effective in this role, you must have demonstrated expert level understanding of accessibility, assistive technology, and need a unique skill set of problem‑solving, strong communication, and working as part of a team. About You You are a fit for the role of Senior Accessibility Specialist, if you have : BA / BS in information science, information design, computer science, related field, or equivalent industry experience. 7+ years of experience working as an accessibility professional.
