Are you an experienced bilingual (English and Spanish) legal assistant looking for new challenges with a U.S. law firm? We have immediate openings for talented individuals.We seek passionate and detail-oriented bilingual legal assistants committed to supporting legal teams and helping clients. If this sounds like you, we want to hear from you.Please note: This position is for independent contractors. You will be responsible for your own taxes and insurance.Responsibilities:Assess new cases and provide preliminary evaluations to the legal team.Assist in developing and executing case strategies.Manage and maintain case files with precision.Communicate with clients to provide updates on their cases.Serve as a liaison between clients and the legal team.Coordinate with external experts and vendors as necessary.Provide comprehensive support to the legal team.Conduct legal research and assist in drafting legal documents.Requirements:At least 1 year of experience as a Legal Assistant.Thorough knowledge of legal procedures, terminology, and practices.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks.Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.What We Offer:Salary paid bi-monthly (1st and 15th).40-hour workweek.Long-term, work-from-home positions with advancement opportunities.Salary increase after 6 months.Monthly internet subsidy.Insurance subsidy after 6 months.Monthly performance and attendance incentives.Equal Opportunity Employer:Scale Up Staffing is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
