Import / Export Specialist.

Performers a variety of import / export duties that include processing papers necessary to facilitate shipments between international locations. Administers the efficient and economical movement of goods in accordance with organizational policies. Prepares reviews, approves and maintains files for import / export documents required for the lawful completion of import / export activities. Serves as an import / export liaison for international customers / subsidiaries, distribution, procurement, planning, manufacturing, intercompany finance, regulatory and import / export compliance functions. Plans, schedules and routes imports and exports, including monitoring the flow of traffic to / from foreign destinations, ensuring related customer service, brokerage and customs transaction compliance. Works independently with general supervision on larger, moderately complex projects / assignments. Organizational Impact: Sets objectives for own job area to meet the objectives of projects and assignments. Contributes to the completion of project milestones. May have some involvement in cross functional assignments. Innovation and Complexity: Problems and issues faced are general, and may require understanding of broader set of issues or other job areas but typically are not complex. Makes adjustments or recommends enhancements in systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of job area. Communication and Influence: Communicates primarily and frequently with internal contacts. External interactions are less complex or problem solving in nature. Contacts others to share information, status, needs and issues in order to inform, gain input, and support decision‑making. Leadership and Talent Management: May provide guidance and assistance to entry level professionals and / or employee in Support Career Stream. Required Knowledge and Experience Equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience in Trade or equivalent experience. Bachelor's degree in International Business or a related similar. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. Experience in International Trade, Customs, and Logistics. Experience with Annex 24 and 30 systems (Zoe, Intrade, or similar). Proficiency in Excel. Proficiency in I-Export. Knowledge of Customs Law. Knowledge of FDA regulations. Knowledge of Finance regulations. Knowledge of APICS. Advanced English proficiency.
