Now, we're looking for a Senior Bookkeeper with full-cycle experience and a passion for process improvement... someone who can own onboarding, lead the numbers, and set new clients up for long-term success. A Day in This Role Could Look Like: You hop on Zoom with a brand-new client to walk them through our onboarding framework. Their books are a mess. But you've seen worse. You calmly break the chaos into clear next steps, flag red flags early, and outline a plan that gets everyone aligned. Then, you bring in the right team, assign ownership, and lead the charge. After the call, you're reviewing AR/AP workflows, setting reconciliation priorities, and mapping out the cleanup plan that helps the client sleep at night again. You get to help build the biggest agency accounting firm in the US. Drafting SOPs. Creating checklists. Managing workload across the team. Spotting capacity issues before they become fires. Delegating smartly to keep everything moving. By the end of the day, the client feels calm. The team feels clear. And you know you just took a chaotic situation and turned it into a system. What You'll Actually Do: Run onboarding calls for new clients and manage their transition from chaos to clean books Build and maintain SOPs, checklists, and workflows that streamline onboarding Collaborate with the founder to improve processes, client experience, and capacity planning Handle full-cycle accounting including AR, AP, payroll, reconciliations, and monthly close Work inside QuickBooks, Bill.com, Gusto, Ramp, Stripe, and other core tools Lead cleanups and onboardings while reviewing junior team outputs for accuracy Escalate blockers early and communicate clearly via Slack and email Mentor junior bookkeepers and ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal standards Help us track capacity and flag when onboarding needs to pause, slow down, or speed up You're Right for This If: You've done full-cycle accounting and you're fluent in QuickBooks and the core stack You've worked with multiple businesses at once and you're not afraid of complexity You've led onboarding or cleanup projects and know how to drive clarity from day one You can build and improve systems You love building relationships and solving problems, fast Your English is impeccable — written and spoken You're comfortable with EST hours (9–5 preferred, 7–3 OK) You like to work hard, and play hard What Makes This Role Different: Direct access to the founder — with mentorship, feedback, and strategy conversations Global team — with smart, friendly people across time zones and countries Tech-first, growth-focused environment — we innovate constantly Annual bonuses based on performance targets Long-term opportunity — our people stick around because they grow here Fast-paced and supportive culture — you'll work hard and enjoy the wins Monthly team calls that aren't about work — we believe in living life too If you're looking for a leadership role where you can own the outcome, refine the system, and build something that scales...
