This role is part of the Technical Service & Development organization, a customer‑facing branch of R&D. The Associate TS&D Specialist provides technical expertise and service related to the use, handling, and management of Dow products, manages customer technical complaints, and assists in developing new applications. Role Overview The position requires conceptual knowledge of materials science, chemical engineering, chemistry, or related fields, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams across Latin America. You will be part of a regional team distributed throughout the region. Responsibilities Develop value‑creating solutions for customers in response to presented problems with defined scope and impact. Support effective investigation and resolution of customer technical complaints. Collaborate effectively; present research project updates and demonstrate influence through effective presentation skills. Contribute to projects to qualify existing products for a defined portfolio of customers managed in partnership with a sales representative. Communicate and appropriately document work in the form of internal reports and presentations. Apply the scientific method to solve technical problems. Under guidance of senior colleagues, develop hypotheses, plans, and execute experiments; generate reproducible data, interpret results, and modify hypotheses appropriately. Develop prototypes and applications, test properties, and generate well‑organized data. Participate in the generation of ideas and data to support the development of intellectual capital. Protect Dow intellectual capital when working with customers through appropriate use of secrecy and JD agreements. Acquire understanding of Dow technologies. Serve as an information resource for the project team and stakeholders. Qualifications and Requirements Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry or a related discipline. Applicants should have a maximum of 24 months since graduation. Availability to travel up to 30% of the time. Driver's license. Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English. Position based in Mexico City (MEX).
