AWS Operations Support

#ZCCZurich Capability Center is seeking for :AWS Operations supportSummary:In the Cloud Operations – Server and Networking position you will support the design, implementation, and maintenance of public cloud server and networking environments. You will understand software development methodologies and be able to work with development, platform, security, and infrastructure teams to support the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) delivery process. The successful candidate will possess very strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently to research and resolve issues.Essential Functions:Support the engineering, automation and orchestration systems for provisioning and maintenance processes using modern cloud tools and technologies. Support technologies in alignment with global and local requirements.Support public cloud solutions using automation, orchestration, and deployment tools including Terraform, PowerShell, Ansible, Bash.Perform system administration tasks including deployments, configuration, systems monitoring, troubleshooting, and support while innovating to automate as much as possible.Install, configure, maintain, and support applications, services, and servers in public cloud environments.Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by monitoring systems and submitted through the ticketing system. Fully document issues, actions taken, and steps for resolution.Support deployment and maintenance of security patches, security tools, and policy compliance for Windows and Linux servers.Engineer and maintain operational processes and procedures.Focus on continued professional development to maintain knowledge and application of current industry best practices and security concepts.Exhibit an innovative mindset by suggesting improvements as well as engineering and implementing related recommendations. Strong desire to learn, implement, and teach others in new processes and technologies.Perform other tasks as defined, planned, and approved by leadership.Experience Required:Good understanding of AWS environments, including networking concepts of each environment.Demonstrated experience administering, monitoring, and maintaining both Microsoft and Linux server-based operating systems.Demonstrated experience provisioning, configuring, and maintaining cloud computing services in AWS.Operational understanding of security best practices and standards around cloud computing and access management.Educational Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field with relevant work experience of 5+ years experience in the IT field, or equivalent experience in the IT field.Advanced English communication skills (mandatory)Who we are Looking for a challenging and inspiring work environment where you can make a difference?
