We're looking for a Mexico-based Freelance Supply Chain Specialist to support sourcing and vendor coordination for packaging and raw materials. This role has the potential to grow into a full-time position based on performance. What You'll Do Source and evaluate packaging and raw material suppliers (US domestic + international) Request, collect, and organize supplier quotes (RFQs) Manage sample requests, tracking, and delivery timelines Communicate with suppliers through email, WhatsApp, and phone Track lead times, follow up proactively, and ensure timely delivery Maintain organized documentation (pricing, MOQs, certifications, terms) Identify opportunities for cost savings and quality improvements Support production and operations with supply chain updates Build alternative supplier options to de-risk the supply chain Must-Have Qualifications Based in Mexico (required) Excellent English — near-native written and verbal 2+ years in supply chain, procurement, vendor management, or sourcing Experience in cosmetics/skincare , CPG, or packaging strongly preferred Strong communication and follow-through Comfortable managing multiple suppliers at once Highly organized with strong attention to detail Proficient in Google Sheets / Excel Ability to work independently in a remote environment Able to work with U.S. time zones (at least 3–4 hours overlap with Eastern Time) Nice-to-Have Skills Experience sourcing in LATAM, US, or Asia Knowledge of packaging materials, sustainability options, or raw ingredients Familiarity with NDAs, contracts, and supplier terms Experience with project tools (Asana, Trello, Monday, Notion) Role Details Freelance / Independent contractor (hourly or project-based) Remote (must be physically located in Mexico) Flexible schedule Opportunity for long-term or full-time employment based on performance How to Apply Please submit: Your English resume A brief note describing your supply chain or procurement experience Any packaging or raw material sourcing experience you've had Your city and availability
