Arrow Electronics is looking for a collections professional to join our Credit and Collections team in Guadalajara. This position will work with Arrow customers to provide them with options for payment collection and will be empowered to make business decisions within set guidelines to best assist customers and maintain positive business relationships. Job Details Location: MX-JAL-Tlaquepaque, Mexico (HPE Guad office) Salary: $18,508.33 - $22,000.00 MXN Monthly. Actual compensation may vary. Employment Type: Full time Job Category: Accounting/Finance Seniority Level: Entry level Job Function: Accounting/Auditing and Finance Industries: Technology, Information and Internet Responsibilities Take inbound and outbound calls to collect payment from customers, negotiate payment plans, and obtain proper approvals for selected payment solutions. Work with customers to determine reasons for non-payment of invoices, follow up on disputes that have been researched, and collect outstanding balances if applicable. Take appropriate action on accounts such as credit holds, placement with collections, holding orders, etc. Collaborate with sales teams across the United States, Canada, and international members to review order releases, release orders appropriately and set limits based on research and analysis. Qualifications 1-2 years of experience. Strong negotiating abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication; fluent in English. Ability to work independently with little or no guidance. Ability to build and maintain effective business relationships with clients. Demonstrated experience and proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Preferred Experience with Oracle or other ERP systems.
