**Position**:Credit and Collections AssociateArrow Electronics is looking for a Credit and Collections Associate to join our team in Guadalajara This individual will be empowered to make business decisions within set guidelines to best help customers and find payment solutions that will maintain positive business relationships.**What You'll Be Doing**:- Collects to terms-negotiates payment plans; may need to elevate cash flow problems according to mgmt reporting structure. Takes appropriate action such as credit hold, placement with collections; ability to work independently done with little or no guidance.- Negotiate resolutions for payment issues, discrepancies with invoices/credits, and payment schedules as needed.- Collaborate with the sales team to identify root causes of disputes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.- Order release when account is on shipment hold, overlimit or past due.- Monitor customer payment patterns to detect slow payment cycles.- Engage with both sales and customers to address and resolve identified issues promptly.- Review customer financial statements to approve higher credit lines or over-limit product releases as needed**What We're Looking For**:- 3 to 5 years of experience performing credit analysis and collections- Intermediate understanding of financial statements - 1 year of experience- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be fluent in English as some calls may be performed- Demonstrated experience and proficiency with Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level- Accountability and self-driven, attentive to detail, organized**Even Better if You Have**:- Experience with Oracle or other ERP systems**Work Arrangement**:- Hybrid: 3 days in office/2 days work from home**What's In It For You**:At Arrow, we recognize that financial rewards and great benefits are important aspects of an ideal job.
