As a Senior Tax Accountant, you'll lead complex assignments, collaborate with junior accountants, and work directly with our clients to provide expert tax guidance. This role offers the opportunity to manage high-level tasks, advise clients on sophisticated tax strategies, and set a standard of excellence within our firm. Key Responsibilities: Analysis of financial information and preparation of financial reports to determine or maintain records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities for clients. Oversee and prepare various tax returns, including NR, FBAR, S, F, , and Review and process incoming financial documentation such as such as bank statements and client documentation. Facilitating clients to ensure they are complying with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements. Perform additional accounting and tax-related responsibilities as assigned. Some of your abilities for success are: Analytical skills and a meticulous attention to detail Communication and organization skills Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume work environment Must be comfortable reading, writing, and speaking to clients about tax accounting matters in both English and Spanish. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Taxation and 5+ year experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) Proficiency in QuickBooks and Tax Programs Advanced level of English & Spanish Prior experience preparing complex tax returns and corporate tax filings Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years experience working in a CPA or Bookkeeping firm Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel Intermediate Knowledge of QuickBooks Experience working with UltraTax CS CPA or Enrolled Agent certification, or active pursuit of certification Experience in Tax Preparation Experience working for a US-based Companies Demonstrated experience with tax planning and advising for multinational clients About GBS Group: At GBS Group, we help entrepreneurs and executives create opportunities by building better businesses.
