Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.a Typical Day Might IncludeDESIGN LEADERSHIPDelivering quality design packages on schedule and within budget.Applying broad knowledge of mechanical, refractory and structural CAD design for practices across broad areas of assignments.Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety codes, and environmental regulations.Work closely with structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers.Drafting and revising furnace system layouts.Creating and refining unique design solutions to engineering problems.COORDINATION & COLLABORATIONWork with the project leads to understand the project scope of work and assist in breaking it down into smaller, manageable tasks and along with establishing milestones that are delegated to team members who are empowered to execute.Regularly present progress to the internal project lead and/or client to ensure satisfaction throughout the life of the project.Work with project team to drive the design to completion while adhering to client standards and project required level of design.QualificationsWhat You Will Bring:Bachelor Degree in Architecture or Engineering field.Six (6) years or more in furnace designProficiency in Auto CAD 2D platform.Advanced English level.Good communication skillsDesirable SkillsInventor experience in glass design projects a plus.Experience in the design and detailing of piping systems and sheet metal ductwork systems is a plus.Experience in the design and detailing of furnace refractory and binding steel is a plus.Prior experience in Machine Design is relevantWhat We BringMonthly based gross salarySuperior benefits such as Major and Minor medical expenses insurance / Dental and Visual insurance (Family Plan) / Life insurance / 20 Days for Christmas Bonus / Food Coupons and others.Career DevelopmentTraining and EducationOwnership OpportunitiesInnovative ProjectsBest Technology in DesignAdditional Perks OfferedHybrid work model, flexibility to work from home, allowing for a better work-life balance.A collaborative and supportive culture, where you will be encouraged to bring new ideas and interact with our people in Mexico, US and India.As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will experience exciting projects from start to finish and interface directly with some of the most forward-thinking clients in the world.SSOE Employees Clubs.
