Furnace Designer

Overview:SSOE is hiring for a **Furnace** **Designer** who will work with our teams to help our clients gain a competitive advantage through innovative process and systems design. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.**A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE**:**DESIGN LEADERSHIP**- Delivering quality design packages on schedule and within budget.- Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety codes, and environmental regulations.- Work closely with structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers.- Drafting and revising furnace system layouts.- Creating and refining unique design solutions to engineering problems.**COORDINATION & COLLABORATION**- Work with the project leads to understand the project scope of work and assist in breaking it down into smaller, manageable tasks and along with establishing milestones that are delegated to team members who are empowered to execute.- Regularly present progress to the internal project lead and/or client to ensure satisfaction throughout the life of the project.- Work with project team to drive the design to completion while adhering to client standards and project required level of design.Qualifications:**What You Will Bring**:- Bachelor Degree in Architecture or Engineering field.- Six (6) years or more in furnace design- Proficiency in Auto CAD 2D platform.- ** Advanced English** level.- Good communication skills**Desirable Skills**:- Inventor experience in glass design projects a plus.- Experience in the design and detailing of piping systems and sheet metal ductwork systems is a plus.- Experience in the design and detailing of furnace refractory and binding steel is a plus.- _ Prior experience in Machine Design is relevant_**What We Bring**:- Monthly based gross salary- Superior benefits such as Major and Minor medical expenses insurance / Dental and Visual insurance (Family Plan) / Life insurance / 20 Days for Christmas Bonus / Food Coupons and others.- Career Development- Training and Education- Ownership Opportunities- Innovative Projects- Best Technology in Design**Additional Perks Offered**:- Hybrid work model, flexibility to work from home, allowing for a better work-life balance.- A collaborative and supportive culture, where you will be encouraged to bring new ideas and interact with our people in Mexico, US and India.- As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will experience exciting projects from start to finish and interface directly with some of the most forward-thinking clients in the world.- SSOE Employees Clubs.
