Now we are looking for a Python Backend Developer to join one of our client projects – an AI‑powered influencer discovery and advertising placement platform. Employment type: Project‑based (engagement limited to one/two projects, about 20 weeks – up to 6 months) Location: Remote (must overlap with PST and be available until 5:30 PM Chicago time) Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python. Handle structured/unstructured data and implement efficient JSON‑based data flows. Work on AWS cloud services to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of backend systems. Integrate and optimize AI‑driven components within the backend architecture. Collaborate with frontend developers and product teams to deliver end‑to‑end features. Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and best practices. Contribute to architectural decisions to avoid duplicate backend implementations (Python‑first approach). Requirements 5+ years of backend development experience. Strong expertise in Python for building scalable backend systems. Experience working with AWS cloud services (Lambda, EC2, S3, etc.). Proficiency in working with JSON data structures and APIs. Familiarity with AI/ML integration within backend systems is a plus. Experience in designing high‑performance, distributed systems.
