Your Purpose The Security Operations Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the following core functions within the organization: Continuous Monitoring Threat Intelligence Cyber Incident Management Vulnerability Management Data Loss Prevention This is a highly people‑oriented role. The Security Operations Manager is expected to actively support the growth, development, and specialization of team members, while continuously working to foster high morale, a supportive and trusting team environment, and professional excellence. Reports To Security Engineering Manager Who You Are Required full professional fluency in English and Spanish to seamlessly adapt communication style and detail level when delivering complex technical and strategic information to technical teams and non‑technical business partners alike. 4+ years of experience acting as a leader in SOC, CSIRT, CERT, CDC or similar. Must possess a strong sense of urgency and maintain 24/7 availability to effectively address and mitigate security incidents. This includes mandatory participation in on‑call rotation schedules as required. Demonstrated experience leading Incident Response teams. Solid experience working with EDRs. Solid experience working with SIEM or similar technologies. Solid experience working with Endpoint Security technologies. Solid experience working with Secure Email technologies. Solid experience working with DLP technologies. Solid knowledge in Threat Intelligence. Experience working with cloud environments, preferably on AWS. Solid experience leveraging AI/ML tools and workflows to automate processes, including identifying automation opportunities, designing and implementing AI‑driven solutions, and measuring their impact on operational efficiency. Desired Skills Experience working with containerization technologies. What You Will Do Lead and guide a multidisciplinary security operations team. Foster collaboration by building strong interpersonal bonds, promoting open communication, and ensuring a healthy, inclusive, and high‑performing team environment. Serve as a key liaison between Bitso and external security partners and providers. Collaborate with Compliance teams to support regulatory obligations across different jurisdictions. Develop, refine, and enhance operational processes and procedures. Communicate effectively with senior leadership and cross‑functional, non‑technical business units. Your Team As our Security Operations Manager you will have three direct reports.
