Roles Auditor – Freight Payment and Audit Reports to: Manager – Freight Payment and Audit Location: Monterrey, NL, México Work Schedule: Full-time, hybrid Monday through Friday 8:00 AM‑5:00 PM with 1‑hour break. Flexibility available based on coverage. Responsibilities Enter carrier freight bills Audit carrier freight bills Investigate and respond to billing issues/inquiries Understand LTL carrier pricing, tariffs, accessorial charges, and reasons invoices fail audit Understand Truckload carrier pricing and reasons invoices fail audit Prepare and analyze data to manage carrier payables Perform clerical and office work needed, including answering phone calls and operating general office equipment Correspond with internal and external teams to ensure timely and accurate payment to carriers Identify reasons invoices fail audit and resolve root causes with carriers or internal teams Ensure all customer invoices are processed successfully and with accurate charges Effectively manage invoice work queues to ensure all invoices are processed and paid to carriers and billed to clients within 90 days of delivery Qualifications Bi‑lingual in English/Spanish with proficiency for verbal and written communication Ability to read, analyze, and interpret freight payment procedures and carrier pricing contracts Understanding of LTL and Truckload transportation industry and carrier pricing, invoice details Strong attention to detail and analytical/problem‑solving skills Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and collaborate within a team environment Experience with OTM, Mercury Gate, Excel, Zendesk, Teams, and Outlook Experience with freight rating and accessorial understanding and discrepancy resolution Previous accounts payable experience, preferably processing carriers, invoices, and payments Benefits Access to learning and development resources Internal mobility opportunities Employee referral bonus program Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) Annual fundraising and volunteer events Life insurance policy starting 30 days after employment Personal health insurance coverage for major medical Christmas bonus or prorated percentage for first year Vacation time starting at 12 days, increasing per Mexican law Premium vacation 50% vacation days (Prima vacacional) Saving plan (Fondo de Ahorro) and grocery card (Vales de Despensa) 6% or maximum amount per Mexican law Cell phone allowance of $800 pesos per month minus applicable taxes Equal Opportunity Employer Redwood Logistics is an equal opportunity employer.
