Our motivated and talented team, proven processes, and sophisticated technology help companies like yours win.See for yourself why The Chicago Tribune has named Redwood Logistics a Top Workplace for several years running**Position Description**:As an **Auditor, **you will be responsible processing and auditing carrier invoices efficiently and expeditiously in accordance with carrier and/or customer contracts.**Responsibilities**:- Enter carrier freight bills- Audit carrier freight bills- Investigate and respond to billing issues/inquiries- Understand LTL carrier pricing, tariffs, accessorial charges, and reasons why invoices fail audit- Understand truckload carrier pricing and reasons why invoices fail audit- Prepare and analyze data to manage carrier payables- Perform other clerical/office work as needed, including but not limited to answering phone calls, handling customer service requests for both clients and carriers, and operating general office equipment (computer, scanner)- Corresponding with internal and external teams as needed to ensure timely/accurate payment to carriers- Identify reasons why invoices fail audit and work with carriers or internal team members to resolve the root causes- Ensure all customer invoices process successfully and with accurate charges- Effectively manage invoice work queues to ensure all invoices are processed and paid to carriers and billed to clients within 90 days of delivery**Qualifications/Experience**:- Experience with OTM, Mercury Gate, Excel, Zendesk, and Outlook- Team player in Discrepancy Resolution, with freight rating and accessorial understanding- Highly organized and detail-oriented- Track record of effective communication skills- Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple business units and external vendors- Previous Accounts Payable experience, preferably processing freight invoices- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Accounting certification/degree- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an Accounts Payable role involving Freight invoices utilizing SAP or equivalent ERP system**Rewards**:- Life Insurance policy for you starting 30 days after employment.- Personal Health Insurance coverage for you - Major Medical- 30 days “Aguinaldo” Christmas bonus or prorated percentage your first year.- Vacation time starting at 12 days.
