We use some of the latest technologies in the digital and cognitive field to empower organizations in every aspect.Right now, we are looking for Plataform Engineer Lead to join our Cloud Studio at GlobantWe are seeking an experienced Lead Platform Architect to design and implement an enterprise-grade AI Gateway platform that provides automated governance, security, and optimization for Large Language Model (LLM) consumption across our organization. This role will lead the technical vision and architecture decisions for a critical platform engineering initiative.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitecture & DesignDesign scalable, secure, and performant AI Gateway architecture supporting 10,000+ concurrent requestsDefine technical standards and patterns for AI governance, security, and complianceCreate comprehensive technical documentation and architectural decision records (ADRs)Lead technical evaluation and selection of AI gateway solutions (Kong, Tyk, Portkey, etc.)Design multi-region, high-availability deployment architecturesTechnical LeadershipLead a team of 3-5 senior platform engineers and provide technical mentorshipConduct architectural reviews and code reviews for complex platform componentsDefine and implement platform engineering best practices and standardsCollaborate with security, compliance, and infrastructure teams on cross-functional requirementsDrive technical decision-making and resolve complex architectural challengesPlatform EngineeringOversee implementation of AI gateway infrastructure using Kubernetes, service mesh, and cloud-native technologiesDesign and implement policy management systems with declarative configurationArchitect observability and monitoring solutions for AI workloadsDesign cost optimization and intelligent routing algorithmsLead integration with enterprise systems (SIEM, identity providers, API management)Governance & ComplianceDefine technical approach for data loss prevention and content filteringDesign audit logging and compliance reporting systemsImplement security controls and guardrails for AI interactionsEnsure platform meets regulatory requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, SOX)Required QualificationsTechnical Expertise8+ years of platform engineering experience with focus on API management, service mesh, or gateway technologiesDeep expertise in Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cloud-native architecturesStrong experience with AI/ML platforms and LLM integration patternsProficiency in Go, Python, or Java for platform developmentExperience with API gateway solutions (Kong, Tyk, Istio, Envoy, AWS API Gateway)Strong understanding of security principles, authentication, and authorization patternsArchitecture & DesignProven track record of designing and implementing large-scale distributed systemsExperience with microservices architectures and service mesh technologiesStrong understanding of observability patterns (Prometheus, Grafana, distributed tracing)Experience with policy engines and rule-based systemsKnowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, Helm, GitOps)Leadership & CommunicationDemonstrated experience leading technical teams and complex projectsStrong communication skills with ability to present to senior leadershipExperience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practicesProven ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholdersPreferred QualificationsExperience with AI governance platforms (Portkey, ModelOp, Kong AI Gateway)Knowledge of LLM technologies and generative AI applicationsExperience with enterprise compliance frameworks and audit requirementsCloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP)Experience with WebAssembly (WASM) for extensible gateway architecturesPrevious experience in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, government) #J-18808-Ljbffr
