Overview
A cutting-edge optical design, manufacturing, and image-processing technology company that leads the industry on a global scale, is seeking a driven and accomplished Sales Engineer with a strong background in technology solutions sales to join our team.
Compensation
$2,200 - $ 2,400 USD (month) - Negotiable depending on experience
**Incentive Plan**: Up to $1,500 USD quarterly.
Core Responsibilities
Support sales executives with solution selling into prospect account base
Partner with sales executives to plan, prepare and execute on strategic deals in complex sales cycles
Model the financial business case associated with each sales opportunity
Successfully match customer pain/requirements to proposed solutions
Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition
Manage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses
Effectively communicate client needs to the R&D teams for future product enhancements
Collect and document competitive intelligence
Basic Qualifications
Proven work experience as a Sales Engineer
Proven track record selling complex enterprise solutions
Ability to build strong relationships with senior executives
Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple way
Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent presentation and creativity skills
Willingness to travel
BA/BS degree or equivalent, preferably with a numeracy base
**Key selection criteria**:
3+ years of technical experience in physical security
Experience and credibility in the Physical Security Industry
Strong customer service and sales skillset
Comfortable presenting in person or virtually
Ability to support presales and post-sales activities
Energetic and self-motivated individual who works effectively with a team
Ambitious resource with the desire to grow and contribute in an evolving team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
