Property Accountant (Remote) - 52918916495 Job Title: Property Accountant - Full Time We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Property Accountant to join our team. Reporting directly to the Property Controller and working closely with the property management and asset management teams, you will be responsible for full-cycle accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of properties under minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities Full-Cycle Accounting & Financial Reporting Perform full-cycle accounting in accordance with GAAP and client requirements. Prepare monthly journal entries, including accruals and adjusting entries. Complete general ledger account reconciliations and analyze monthly financial statements. Generate and review financial reports for accuracy and compliance. Accounts Receivable Process monthly tenant billings and record daily deposit activity. Work closely with the property management team to ensure tenant ledgers are accurate. Handle manual billing adjustments as needed. Accounts Payable Code and process vendor invoices using Payscan. Submit AP batches for payment processing and respond to vendor inquiries. Maintain vendor records, manage new vendor setup, and reconcile intercompany payables. Collaboration & Support Provide financial and analytical support to the asset and property management teams. Assist in annual budget preparation and variance analysis. Support year-end and property-level audits. Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned by the Controller, VP of Finance, or company leadership. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3-5 years of accounting experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in property and/or fund accounting. Proficiency with Yardi or similar financial/tenant management platforms. Strong knowledge of GAAP and relevant accounting regulations. Experience with accounting in investment fund environments. Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
