OverviewThis role is within Chamberlain Group's Nogales Quality and Compliance group. A successful incumbent is expected (i) to develop and sustain the Quality Management System (ISO 9001) in line with the required industry standards, accreditation requirements and business requirements across the organization through existing and new procedures, (ii) regulate, control and improve the quality of all processes throughout the business and the final product, (iii) manage the audit program to ensure that all nonconformities raised against customer audits or certification bodies during audits are effectively corrected and independently verified. Embed a culture of continuous improvement throughout the company. Requires 3+ years of experience in manufacturing processes or Quality Engineering and a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electronics).ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with the ISO 9001 standardImplement all relevant procedures described in the Quality Management System (QMS)Conduct internal audits and assessments to ensure compliance with QMS requirements and identify areas for improvementAssess accuracy of detailed information of own work and othersAnalyse ambiguous problems and drive root cause analysis and ensure corrective/preventive actions for non-conformities found during QMS auditsFacilitate external certification assessment for ISO 9001 and customer audits by organizing and overseeing the certification processCollaborate with cross-functional teams to implement quality improvement initiatives and resolve quality issuesProvide training to employees on QMS requirements and quality standardsUndertake regular internal and process audits of the QMSDevelop, implement and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility and review ongoing performanceContribute to strategic decisions and consider implications of recommendationsDevelop and maintain quality risk management policies, processes and procedures to support QMS implementation and improvement; undertake quality risk assessments and maintain/update the Risk RegisterImplement new programs for QMS effectiveness and results; lead rigorous process and/or service improvement plansComply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teamsProtect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidentialMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societiesContribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating in projects as neededEducation / CertificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electronics)Experience3+ years of experience in manufacturing processes or Quality EngineeringA detailed understanding of ISO 9001; TS16949, ISO14001 / OHSA 18001 would be advantageousQuality Management System auditing experience and managing audit programsStrong understanding of ISO requirements and quality management principlesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience of dealing with customers and suppliersKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesRequires a high level of interpersonal skills and the ability to display confidence, objectivity, tact, diplomacy and ethical conductProvides internal professional and technical leadership; leverages specialized knowledge to support and guide the teamAdapts influencing style to different people and needsResults oriented, can work under pressure with minimal supervisionDevelop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performanceWork collaboratively, negotiate and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with the quality strategySeniority levelAssociateEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionQuality Assurance and EngineeringIndustriesAppliances, Electrical, and Electronics ManufacturingManufacturingMotor Vehicle Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
