Job Overview This position objective is managing inventory/timing of ordering of components needed for production in order to meet customer order requirements. This position reports to the Planning Manager, and it is located in Matamoros, Tamaulipas site. Responsibilities Create Purchase Orders to Suppliers for material to support Sales. Lead the overall fulfillment activities raw material purchasing and inventory management. Communicate with planning team material delivery schedules. Coordinate with forwarder and logistics team to ensure material arrive on time. Maintain system information including AB, LA, etc. to ensure MRP is running correctly, and information is communicated effectively through system. Ad Hoc Reporting Tools development and any applicable management reports required. PO management include pull in, push out, cancel & escalation. Eligibility Requirements OmniOn Power will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in Mexico for this opening. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. Basic Qualifications 3-5 years' experience in Purchasing or Planning role. Good English ability, both spoken and written. Detail oriented, sensitive to numbers and strong analytical skills. Excellent sense to ERP system and computer savvy. Ability to utilize digitization tools. Able to handle multiple assignments, clear thinker in prioritization and decision making. Strong initiatives in identifying the problems and finding solutions. Excellent communication and influencing skills with cross functional and regional teams. A team player but with the ability to work with little supervision. Strong PC skills required – especially on Excel and PowerPoint.
