Key Responsibilities:Test Strategy & PlanningDefine and implement the test strategy for data pipelines, ETL processes, reporting dashboards, and analytics models.Collaborate with data engineers, BI developers, and business analysts to understand data flows, transformation logic, and reporting requirements.Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test data for functional, regression, integration, and UAT phases.Execution & CoordinationLead execution of manual and automated testing across:Databricks notebooks and Spark jobsInformatica ETL workflowsSQL-based data validationSSIS packages and SSRS reportsCoordinate with offshore teams and ensure timely delivery of test cycles.Track and manage defects using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or ALM.Automation & ToolsImplement automation for data validation and regression testing using Python, PySpark, or SQL scripts.Ensure test coverage and traceability using test management tools.Compliance & DocumentationEnsure testing aligns with Zurich’s data governance, audit, and regulatory standardsMaintain documentation of test artifacts, data lineage validation, and sign-off reports.Support UAT and business validation cycles with structured test support.Reporting & GovernanceProvide regular test status reports, data quality metrics, and risk assessments.Participate in program governance meetings and quality assurance reviews.Required Skills & Experience:8+ years of experience in software/data testing, with 3+ years in data engineering or BI testing.Strong expertise in Databricks, Informatica, SQL, SSIS, and SSRS.Experience in data validation, ETL testing, and report verification.Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD environments.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.ISTQB or equivalent certification preferred.Preferred Attributes:Experience in insurance domain, especially in financial and operational reporting.Exposure to cloud data platforms (Azure Data Lake, Delta Lake, Snowflake).Knowledge of data profiling, reconciliation, and anomaly detection.Ability to lead offshore, nearshore testing teams and manage multi-vendor environments.
