ResponsibilitiesCompliance with all federal, state and local regulations as well as Howmet internal policies, procedures and standards related to flow path operationsImplementation and maintenance of internal controls, policies, systems, and procedures designed to assure cost effectiveness, on time, defect free manufacture and shipment of product to meet customer needs including development of effective production plans and the integration of new products.Thorough understanding of Continuous Improvement principles and their integration into the daily operation of the plant to foster continuous improvement through the elimination of waste.In conjunction with the Quality Department, development of quality systems designed and implemented to ensure product integrity and traceability.Development and maintenance of programs designed to insure the ongoing reliability of the plant's operating equipmentDevelopment of staffing plans to meet flow path needs.Development and management of the capital budget and projects.Attracting, Retaining & Developing talent for all areas of responsibilityAssuming the role of the Plant Manager in his absence.Active involvement in the overall operation of the facility through constructive participation in all Lead Team activities.Execute the EHS responsibilities outlined in the Environmental, Health and Safety Agreement for Lead Team ManagersFulfil Roles and Responsibilities from standard ISO*****QualificationsBachelor in Mechanical Engineer.5-year experience in Manager Position.100% English required (technical language required)Aluminum Machining experience.Knowledge in Industrial Processes.Management and interpretation of technical standards for industrial processes.Proven ability to recruit, train, and motivate personnel in order to balance staffing strength with profitability and growth.Well developed interpersonal skills.Ability to get along well with diverse personalities.Participative management style.Well organized.Strong analytical and reasoning abilities.High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with normal activities.About Howmet Aerospace #J-18808-Ljbffr
