The Human Resources Manager leads and manages all site-level human resources functions, ensuring compliance with applicable labor laws, alignment with business objectives, and effective people management practices. This role serves as a strategic partner to site leadership while overseeing day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, payroll coordination, and compliance. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES HR Strategy & Leadership Lead and manage the site HR team, including Pre-Payroll, Medical Services, Security & EHS. Partner with site leadership to align HR strategies with operational and business goals. Support organizational change & talent development initiatives and culture-building efforts. Employee Relations & Compliance Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and employment regulations. Manage employee relations matters including disciplinary actions, investigations, and terminations. Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management. Maintain accurate employee records and oversee compliance reporting and audits. Partner with legal counsel and corporate HR as needed on complex matters. Payroll, Compensation & Benefits Oversight Oversee pre-payroll operations in coordination with Finance. Ensure accurate administration of compensation, benefits, and statutory programs. Support annual compensation reviews, salary administration processes and salary benchmarking exercises. Talent Management Support onboarding, employee development, and retention initiatives. Partner with Learning & Development to identify training needs and support leadership development. Policies, Controls & Reporting Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and standard work. Ensure accurate HR reporting and data integrity within HRIS systems. Support audits and compliance reviews related to HR and payroll. Prepare and analyze HR metrics to support decision-making. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES Education Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field required. Experience 7–10 years of progressive HR experience, including people management responsibilities and environmental health & safety practices. Strong knowledge of Mexican labor law and HR best practices. Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. Languages Spanish required; English advanced required.
