About The Job We are seeking a Remote Logistics Customer Support to join our team in Mexico, who will be responsible for ensuring the movement of freight by our carriers is coordinated according to our customer’s needs. Job Details Employment Type: Full-Time Independent Contractor Department: Customer Service/Support Job Level: Intermediate Experience: 3 Years Required Skills General Skills: Customer Satisfaction, Supplier Relationship Management Soft Skills: Team Management, Decision Making, Collaboration, Communication, Team Collaboration, Time Management, Relationship Building, Negotiation Skills, Active Listening Responsibilities Manage the customer board Call carriers to confirm pick up and deliveries and advise dispatcher/shipper/consignee of delays Email or call clients when shipments are delivered Track and trace merchandise to provide the latest updates quickly Enter pro number and obtain PODs after shipments are dropped off at our terminals Provide PODs to billing Provide key clients with distinct customer service for specialized needs Request missing PODs from carriers when advised by billing Provide daily reports to key clients Inform dispatchers if appointments are required for delivery Support dispatchers with data entry when needed Requirements 3 to 4 years of experience Languages: Spanish and English (mandatory; 60% Spanish, 40% English) Salary & Benefits Pay: Hourly, $8.00 – $9.00 Working Hours Monday: 06:00 – 04:00 Tuesday: 06:00 – 04:00 Wednesday: 06:00 – 04:00 Thursday: 06:00 – 04:00 Friday: 06:00 – 04:00 Additional Requirements Tech: Windows or Mac Language: Spanish About The Company 1840 & Company is a global leader in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and remote talent solutions, dedicated to propelling businesses forward through our comprehensive suite of services.
