CSSC Applications Engineer

Overview We are seeking an experienced CSSC Application Engineer to join our CSSC Backoffice Water Utility team at GRUNDFOS. This position reports directly to the CSSC Supervisor and may be based at our Brookshire, TX facility or at our Monterrey, N.L., Mexico office. Candidates must be authorized to work in the country where they will be based and must not require employment-based visa sponsorship. Responsibilities Provide technical assistance to customers regarding product sizing, applications, system solutions, accessories, installations, prices, and ensure the functionality of the solutions in practice. Follow up on customer interactions within set SLA and process special orders and inquiries in coordination with suppliers. Support sales teams by handling tenders and projects, including providing dimensions, specifications, calculations, delivery times, operation and maintenance issues. Identify business opportunities and hand them over to external sales. Ensure customer master data is updated for the portfolio of customers under your responsibility. Communicate, collaborate, and provide support with the respective product segment or other suppliers when local problem solving is not available. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics preferred) or equivalent in a technical role within the pump industry; 2–3 years of experience. Strong mechanical and electrical ability. Experience supporting multiple customer requirements in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to maintain various files and logs. Proficient in communication with both technical and non‑technical audiences. High customer/client focus and written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in application engineering, with the ability to assess technical specifications and develop comprehensive bid proposals for pumps and controls. Experience with controls and control systems is valued. Excellent written and spoken English. Capability to operate daily from the Brookshire, TX facility in a hybrid function.
