Hiring a seasoned technology professional is crucial to drive the success of our organization. The role of Application Specialist is pivotal in this endeavor. Job DescriptionThe primary responsibility of the Application Specialist lies in providing support for on-premises and cloud applications owned by the GTS Financial & Business Applications team. This position serves as a resource, contributing to process improvements and ensuring that appropriate controls are in place. Data integration is also a key aspect of this role, providing valuable insights to decision‑makers and business owners. Responsibilities Serving as a liaison between technical and functional stakeholders and project management teams to ensure smooth progress and adherence to project plans. Defining project scope, strategy, deliverable priorities, and recommending alternative solutions. Acting as a subject matter expert for functionality, content, processes, and procedures. Developing implementation plans and ensuring transition to ongoing support. Defining detailed requirements, analyzing business needs, and validating solutions with internal clients. Coordinating project activities, preparing agendas, documenting meeting outcomes, and collaborating with team members. Establishing, administering, and maintaining project and knowledge management processes and tools. Required Skills and Qualifications To excel in this role, candidates must possess : A minimum of 5 years of experience working with financial and business applications. Experience working with third‑party vendors to implement SaaS solutions. Hands‑on knowledge of software development life cycle and project management methodologies. Awareness of security and control standards, frameworks, and best practices (e.G., ISO, NIST). Strong PC skills, including experience using MS Office products, especially Excel and Project. Excellent organization skills and verbal and written communication skills. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Benefits Life insurance.
