Responsable de asegurar el correcto funcionamiento y la continuidad operativa de la infraestructura de Redes y Telecomunicaciones del Tecnológico de Monterrey y sus Instituciones, mediante la configuración, actualización, monitoreo, respaldo, auditoría, diagnóstico, atención de incidentes y solución de problemas. Responsable también de la administración de recursos, la entrega de nuevos servicios y soluciones de Redes a través de proyectos estratégicos y de mejora continua. Administración y operación de elementos de infraestructura de Redes y Telecomunicaciones tales como Switches, Routers, Wireless Controllers, Access-Points, Firewalls, Enlaces WAN, Servicios de DHCP y DNS locales, etc. Dimensionamiento del equipamiento de red, configuración y seguimiento a implementación de estos en proyectos estratégicos y de mejora continua. Planeación, seguimiento e implementación de actualizaciones y renovaciones de la infraestructura de red. Soporte y atención de incidentes de segundo y tercer nivel. Atención de ventanas de mantenimiento y liberaciones. Monitoreo de la infraestructura de red y Telecomunicaciones. Atención de nuevos requerimientos de red a través de los procesos definidos. Habilitación de infraestructura temporal para eventos programados. Ejecución de los proyectos a través del uso de metodologías de administración de proyectos. Utilizar las mejores prácticas de TI para atender los nuevos requerimientos, incidentes, problemas y cambios requeridos en la operación diaria. Asegurar el cumplimiento de normas aplicables a la operación de Redes y Comunicaciones para responder en tiempo y forma a requerimientos de auditorías internas, externas y de seguridad. Relaciones con entidades y proveedores de servicios relacionados con Infraestructura de TI. Asegurar la disponibilidad de los servicios e infraestructura de Red. Cumplimiento de SLAs acordados con las diferentes áreas de la Institución. Cumplimiento con auditorías internas o externas. Proyectos realizados bajo estándares que aseguren su correcta ejecución y calificados de manera óptima por parte del usuario final. Trabajo mediante estándares de operación y entrega de servicios. Contar con las más recientes funcionalidades, compatibilidades y herramientas acorde los niveles de infraestructura con que se cuenta. Cumplimiento con los planes de mantenimiento y soporte de la infraestructura. Maximizar el valor de las inversiones de TIC. Informes de capacidades que sirvan para la toma de decisiones. Mantener una infraestructura de Red optimizada, actualizada, con las capacidades y funcionalidades correctamente dimensionadas para ofrecer un servicio adecuado a nuestros usuarios.
