The role is responsible for tax compliance with SAT, mitigating exchange rate risks and driving the profitability of the business units (Corporate, Leisure, MICE). ( Key Responsibilities A. Financial Management Collection ManagementKat: Supervise daily cash flow where customer collections and supplier payments occur on different schedules. Foreign Exchange Management (FX): Execute hedging strategies and currency trading (USD, EUR, MXN) to protect margins against Mexican peso volatility. B. Financial Operations Control BSP Control (IATA): Supervise the weekly/bi‑weekly reconciliation and payment of the Billing and Settlement Plan (airline tickets) ensuring no discrepancies. Commission Management: Monitor effective collection of commissions (front and back‑end) and overrides from airlines, hotels and GDS providers such as Amadeus or Sabre. Accounts Receivable (Credit): Evaluate and authorize credit lines for corporate clients, minimizing past‑due accounts. C. Accounting and Tax Mexican Regulations: Ensure compliance with NIF, ISR, IVA, ISN and other federal and state tax obligations. Invoicing 4.0: Supervise the issuance of CFDI 4.0 payment supplements and manage operations with the 0 % export rate versus the Chapel 16 % tax rate. Desirable: Master’s in Finance or MBA. ExperienceMinimum 5 years of experience in financial management. Essential: Previous experience in Tourism, Hospitality or Travel Agencies (knowledge of IATA and GDS cycles). Manage accounting teams in Mexico. Technical Knowledge Software: Proficiency in ERPs (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and desirable knowledge of agency back‑office systems (e.g., ANT). Excel: Advanced level (Macros, Pivot tables, financial modeling). Language: Advanced English (Bilingual) – essential for communication with corporate in Australia and the United States. and Strategic Vision: Understand how global volatility affects local business.
