Enclosures Engineer/Consultant - DiagnosticsJoin to apply for the Enclosures Engineer/Consultant - Diagnostics role at Walter P MooreJob OverviewWalter P Moore has an immediate opening for a Enclosures Engineer/Consultant to join our Diagnostics Group. The role involves investigating and determining the service life of building enclosure assemblies, assessing enclosure systems, and designing repairs for existing systems.ResponsibilitiesAssist Project Manager with project tasksReview and organize project-related documentsResearch building codes and industry standardsWrite assessment reportsPerform field investigations throughout Mexico and the US as requiredConduct performance modeling of enclosure assemblies using various softwareAnalyze proposed repair/design optionsDesign and draft repair drawings and detailsPrepare construction documents such as repair drawings and specificationsObserve construction and installation of repairs in the field, including quality assurance testingPrepare site visit reports and meeting minutesInteract with clients, sub-consultants, and contractorsQualificationsB.S. in Architectural Engineering, Architecture in Building Science/Enclosures, or Historic Preservation; Master’s degree preferredCedula ProfesionalDriver's license in MexicoExperience in building enclosure design, repair, retrofit, and high-performance building deliverySkillsMicrosoft Office SuiteAutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, GrasshopperBuilding performance modeling software (e.g., ENERGYPLUS, EQUEST, DIVA)Knowledge of exterior wall and roofing systemsExperience working at heights and on scaffoldingCompany OverviewWalter P Moore is an international engineering and architecture firm founded in 1931, with over 1000 professionals across multiple locations.
