The Supply Chain Engineering Manager leads remote continuous improvement programs across 50+ connected factories, delivering measurable gains in service, inventory, and working capital through the deployment and optimization of enterprise supply chain tools. Serving as the bridge between the COE and site-level teams, this role ensures adoption, standardization, and execution of transformation initiatives that improve service, reduce inventory, and enhance operational excellence. Key Responsibilities saddles internal responsibilities: strategic accountability Lead continuous improvement initiatives across 50+ connected factories through remote engagement. Own deployment, governance, and optimization of enterprise supply chain tools. Act as liaison between the COE and site-level supply chain teams for transformation execution. Operational responsibilities Align with corporate goals in the Annual AOP related to Growth, Customer Service Level, and Working Capital Optimization. Use enterprise dashboards, Supply Chain Data Platform (SCDP) and Pulse, PFEP, Control Tower, SC Cockpit, Supplier OTD, OneStream, and Power BI outputs to identify improvement opportunities. Oversee PFEP implementation, MRP parameter governance, POH deployment and execution, and systematic management of shortages and Clear‑to‑Build. Support and assure proper site configuration of enterprise tools (PFEP, SCDP/Pulse‑POH and Shortages/CTB). Direct the remote SC engineering team in maintaining dashboards, scripts, and automation solutions. Facilitate virtual Kaizen events, process audits, and post‑implementation reviews. Provide training and coaching to Planners, Buyers, and Schedulers across sites. Oversee and support OpCo‑allocated Planner/Buyers to ensure superior performance. Recruit and onboard new Planner/Buyers allocated to OpCos. Track, measure, and report continuous improvement performance. Key Interfaces Director, Supply Chain – Priority setting and reporting. Supply Chain Engineers – Direct reports. Site Supply Chain Managers & Planners – Initiative execution. OpCo Procurement Managers – Supplier process improvements. OpCo Planner nietries – Adoption of tools and processes. IT/Data Specialists – Integration and technical support for enterprise tools. IT/ERP Teams – ERP/MRP maximization. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) % of factories using enterprise tools to standard. Monthly Avoidance Opportunity by site (via POH). Qualifications Education & Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or related field (Master’s preferred). Professional certifications (APICS/ASCM CPIM, CSCP, or similar) strongly preferred. Lean/Six Sigma or continuous improvement certifications a plus. Experience 8–12+ years in Supply Chain Management, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role managing planners, buyers, and/or supply chain engineers. Proven success in multi‑site, multi‑business environments (preferably global, across different OpCos/divisions). Experience in manufacturing under MTO, ATO, ETO, and MTS environments. Demonstrated impact on On‑Time Delivery (OTిట) Past Due reduction. Inventory reduction while maintaining service levels.
