First Brands Group is hiring for a Maintenance Supervisor for our Walbro LLC division for our office in Los Mochis, Sinaloa. Position Objective Lead and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities for production equipment and facility infrastructure, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This role is responsible for minimizing downtime, optimizing asset performance, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards across the plant. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Supervise and execute preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and equipment — including aluminum injection molding machines and PLC-controlled systems (multi-brand) . Diagnose and troubleshoot PLC logic, inputs/outputs, sensors, and control communication issues to ensure continuous operation. Coordinate maintenance activities for facilities and utilities such as compressors, evaporator, and wastewater treatment systems. Plan and oversee mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic , and automation-related installations. Develop proactive maintenance plans to prevent production stoppages and ensure equipment reliability. Prepare and maintain reports for repairs, downtime, and assigned maintenance tasks. Control and continuously reduce Maintenance downtime metrics. Lead and maintain 5S compliance within the department. Manage procurement of spare parts and maintenance materials, ensuring optimal inventory levels. Maintain updated documentation and proper record keeping for audits, compliance, and equipment history. Ensure proper completion of TPM records and machinery downtime logs. Monitor department KPIs, analyze performance data, and execute improvement initiatives. Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and other departments to support weekly production goals. Participate in MRT activities to ensure optimal equipment condition and reliability. Provide technical support for plant services (air, water, utilities). Ensure adherence to environmental protection, safety, and health standards. Support emergency response actions when necessary. Education and Experience: Bachelor's in Mechatronics, Electronics, Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in electronic and mechanic maintenance and automation within a manufacturing environment. Experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic programming of PLCs from different brands (e.g., Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi). Experience in maintenance and operation of aluminum injection molding machines. Ability to read and interpret electrical, neumatic diagrams, and technical manuals. Hands-on experience using electrical measurement tools and automation software. English intermediate or advance proficiency (speaking, reading and understanding manuals).
