The company develops highly technical software solutions and continues to grow through both organic expansion and acquisitions. Due to this growth, they are strengthening their Global Payroll function to support increasing international complexity and reduce operational risk. About the Role We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to support global payroll operations, with a strong focus on international payroll across EMEA. This role is critical to relieving the current payroll team, supporting third-party vendors, and ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing across multiple countries. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast‑paced, global environment. Key Responsibilities Support end to end payroll operations for international locations, primarily across EMEA. Prepare and validate payroll input data and submit pay elements to third‑party payroll vendors. Audit payroll reports received from vendors to ensure accuracy and compliance before final approval. Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, including tax issues, deductions, and country‑specific payroll nuances. Partner closely with internal payroll leadership and global stakeholders to ensure smooth payroll execution. Support special payroll events (e.g., company‑wide tax events, acquisitions, transitions). Maintain accurate payroll documentation, reports, and audit trails. Assist with process improvements and scalability initiatives as the company continues to grow. Requirements 3–5+ years of hands‑on payroll experience in multinational or global environments. Proven exposure to international payroll, ideally including EMEA countries (working knowledge is sufficient). Experience working with third‑party payroll providers and auditing payroll outputs. Strong Microsoft Excel skills (data validation, reconciliations, reporting). Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and troubleshoot payroll issues with minimal supervision. Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail. Comfortable collaborating with distributed teams across multiple time zones. Advanced English proficiency. Nice to Have Accounting or payroll accounting background (general ledger exposure). Experience supporting stock‑based compensation payroll events. Background in shared services centers, large multinational companies, or payroll BPO environments. Initial 6‑month contract, with potential for extension. Full‑time schedule, 8–4 or 9–5 local time, with some flexibility for global collaboration. #J-18808-Ljbffr
