About the Role We are looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) based in Mexico City to develop and grow business opportunities within the government and public sector . This role is suitable for a sales professional who understands how to work with government organizations , navigate public-sector environments, and build trusted relationships with government stakeholders. Industry background is flexible — experience working with government customers is the key requirement. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage business opportunities with government and public sector customers Build and maintain relationships with key government stakeholders and decision-makers Identify and pursue government projects, tenders, and business opportunities Coordinate internal teams and external partners to support government sales activities Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity identification to project closure Monitor government initiatives, policies, and market developments Requirements Proven experience in government or public sector sales / business development Strong understanding of how to engage with government organizations Experience with tenders, RFPs, or public procurement is a strong plus Industry background is open (technology, telecom, security, infrastructure, IT, etc.) Strong communication and relationship-building skills Fluent Spanish is required; English is a plus Willingness to travel within Mexico as needed What We Offer Opportunity to work with a multinational company Exposure to large-scale government projects Competitive compensation package (base salary + incentive) Professional growth in an international environment
