The overall focus of the role is to ensure for the identified suppliers within their assigned portfolio that the suppliers are performing to the required levels in terms of Quality, Delivery, Risk, and Competitiveness while ensuring the overall account is executed with as minimally desired risk as possible. The role holder is also required to act as an overall supplier base expert within their defined region to support the business and be an identified conduit between the business and the global function. SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY Overall account management for the assigned suppliers, including: Monitoring supplier performance, particularly around competitiveness, delivery and quality, and implementing appropriate corrective actions when performance is less than acceptable. Monitoring supplier health and overall risk, including capacity and financial solvency, and advising appropriate internal action to take as well as working with suppliers on mitigating action whenever deemed necessary. Facilitating supplier root‑cause correction action whenever required to address systemic issues on performance. Coordinating with suppliers any escalations and risks as raised through the appropriate escalation channels. Collecting required data per reporting/regulatory filing needs. Supporting the business for any supplier claims associated with warranty, damages, etc. Preparing, chairing, and ensuring follow‑up to actions/MOM during periodic supplier business review meetings. Monitoring supplier(s) spend against AVL and Roadmap set by Category Management. Conducting periodic reviews with the Supplier Performance Group and Category Management group on the supplier performance report‑out. Operating in full compliance with all Flowserve Policies & Procedures applicable to the role. MAIN OBJECTIVES Supplier OTD Supplier PPM Contractual Coverage Commercial Terms Supplier Risk On‑time Data Capture Competencies And Skills Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in supply chain / procurement. Strong interpersonal relationship management. Evidenced understanding of both commercial and technical areas of supply chain. Expertise in MS Office tools and Power BI. Strong analytical skills involving collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data. Ability to influence, communicate, and collaborate at all organizational levels. Solid understanding of procurement, sourcing, and category management methodologies. Good project management skills and ability to work under pressure across different time zones (a plus). Strong interpersonal relationship management (duplicate). Evidenced understanding of both commercial and technical areas of supply chain (duplicate). Very good commercial acumen and negotiation skills. Knowledgeable in procurement of the following group of items: Castings and foundries. Forged products. Machining. PREFERENCES Change management experience. Metallurgical engineering or related. Certified Supply Chain Professional. Geographically mobile for development opportunities. Knowledge of SAP and sourcing tools like Ariba. Knowledge of supply base in the region for castings and foundries.
