Production Supervisor (3rd shift) at WNC Corporation We are a leading company in the wireless broadband communications industry looking for talented professionals with a winning attitude. Key Duties, Responsibilities, and Expectations: Perform activities in accordance with the standard work defined for the position Follow up on the production plan established by the Planning department Participate in TIER 1, TIER 2, and TIER 3 meetings Apply 5S practices in the work area and follow up on findings derived from audits Execute and ensure that work instructions (sequence, content, timing, quality, and safety) are properly followed Approve, in coordination with support areas (Engineering, Materials, HSE, Quality, Training), changes to work instructions within their respective areas Ensure on-time completion of models that impact OTTR (on-time delivery to the customer) Ensure all operators comply with internal disciplinary rules Responsible for the management of assigned personnel (discipline, payroll pre-processing, attendance, training, performance evaluations, etc.) Follow up on the completion of assigned metrics and production reports Track production rejections and implement corrective actions in collaboration with support departments. Education, Knowledge, And Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position Intermediate to Advanced English Knowledge and application of Lean Manufacturing tools Experience in SMT processes (mandatory) Strong communication skills at all organizational levels Knowledge of problem‑solving tools (8D, 5 Whys, DMAIC, etc.) Experience with Oracle and Revolution systems (preferred) Skills: Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) Assigning Employees Capability Maturity Model (CMM) Career Development Daily Production Reports Defining Roles And Responsibilities Engineering Management Evaluating Staff Failure Mode And Effects Analysis Industrial Control System ISO 9000 Process Manufacturing Production Improvement Project Commissioning Reliability Availability And Maintainability (RAM) Analysis Six Sigma Statistical Process Control (SPC) Talent Management Validation Processes Value Stream Mapping (VSM) Workforce Development Other Details: Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Management and Manufacturing Industry: Telecommunications #J-18808-Ljbffr
