Strategic Procurement Overview Strategic Procurement plays a pivotal role in driving the success of any organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that purchasing transactions are carried out with utmost precision and efficiency. This entails adhering to our organization's policy, strategic goals, and quality standards. To excel in this role, you must possess a Bachelor's degree in relevant departments and have at least 5 years of experience in procurement. Ideally, your background should be in fast-paced environments such as restaurants, hospitality or food & beverage services. Your ability to solve problems and make decisions will be crucial in shaping the future of our organization. A strong understanding of financial management and business development is essential for navigating complex procurement strategies. Moreover, outstanding communication abilities and the capacity to foster strong relationships with suppliers are vital. The ability to cope with pressure and meet demanding targets and tight deadlines is also necessary. Key Responsibilities Obtaining prices from suppliers, communicating effectively with them, and ensuring timely delivery of quality products. Additionally, you will be required to accept products according to agreed price and quantity ordered, manage order control and stock tracking of products coming from Turkey, and follow up on local purchasing processes. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in relevant departments Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement Strong understanding of financial management and business development Outstanding communication abilities Ability to cope with pressure and meet demanding targets and tight deadlines Proficiency in using ERP systems, particularly in sending orders to suppliers through the system, is highly desirable.
