General Accountant Bendix – Apodaca, Nuevo León, México Descripción del trabajo Job Description Position Summary This position is responsible for support of General Ledger, specifically for month end /year end closing, account reconciliations and analysis, and financial reporting. Essential Functions Account reconciliations ranging from bank reconciliations to customer rebates reconciliations and analysis Month-end/year end close activities including journal entries, corporate reporting and rollover of balances Inter and intracompany eliminations, reporting and reconciliations SAP month end processing including assessments, allocations, and foreign exchange valuation. IFRS reporting packages preparation Communicate to central finance team on status of monthly closing including the preparation and submission of SEM German GAAP reporting Lead posting of freight activity and re-allocation of freight expenses Assist other areas of finance with various projects and questions Assist with KPMG (interim/Final) audit requests Special projects as assigned by manager Knowledge Knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and deep understanding of account reconciliations, accounting principles and procedures. Experience 1-4+ years of experience in general accounting within a manufacturing or public accounting environment. SAP or other ERP experience strongly preferred. Skills Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel). Able to confidently and efficiently correspond to all levels of management. Advanced independent analytical and problem-solving skills. Shows commitment to process improvement. Education Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related field required. Accounting strongly preferred.
