Qualifications- 5+ years of practical hands-on software development experience
- Solid object-oriented design and coding skills with a good grasp of data structures and algorithms
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in English
- Demonstrated experience in designing solutions for complex systems
- Experience in developing early-stage products and creating new features using structured and scalable code
- History of supporting fellow engineers and leading technically
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines and milestones
- Experience in software related to financial transactions is advantageous
- Experience collaborating in distributed teams is a plus
Technologies Used
We are constructing a reliable, globally distributed Ruby on Rails API utilizing Kubernetes on AWS. The front-end is developed using React with TypeScript and GraphQL. Monitoring and metrics are handled through DataDog and Rollbar. Internal tools are created with Retool.
