We are looking for a Senior Test Manager to join our team in Mexico City. As a Senior Test Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the software quality assurance function for games. This position offers a starting salary range of 90,000 MXN per month (gross) with relocation packages available.
What You Will Be Responsible For:
- Supervising the software quality assurance activities.
- Establishing and implementing quality standards for products.
- Leading and managing software test plans and analyzing test results.
- Developing and nurturing teams to ensure efficient operations.
- Creating and sustaining long-term client relationships.
- Traveling globally as required by the program/company.
- Directing the development, maintenance, and execution of test cases, tools, and documentation.
- Leading the QA strategy development for games of various sizes.
- Understanding the timing and reasons behind test design decisions.
- Driving test design reviews and accountability within the team.
- Optimizing tests for maximum efficiency and ROI.
- Using customer knowledge to guide integration testing.
- Defining the testing lifecycle and leading improvements over releases.
- Resolving conflicts, assigning tasks, and ensuring team focus on priorities.
- Maintaining open communication and a positive team environment.
Qualifications for Success:
- University degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in leading testing for multiple games.
- Previous team leadership and development experience.
- Knowledge of automation frameworks, tools, and scripting.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills in various settings.
- Proficiency in Testing and Quality Assurance Best Practices.
